WHAT IS GOING ON WITH LJ?!

Parks and Recreation is my new fave show. I just got caught up and its utterly hilarious and brilliant. I've discussed with firthgal on why it's preferable to The Office, and she brought up how LIKEABLE Leslie is. Office has definitely suffered a decline in quality (lost its focus?) since the earlier seasons, which I still watch every now and then.

Some people say it's BECAUSE the creators of the Office left to make Parks and Rec, making them hate the show and refuse to give it a chance. But yeah, I stopped watching when it started getting really *dark*. Like making Jan batshit insane and subjecting Michael to humiliating sexual activities. WTF?

Will and Emma... sometimes I think they're cute, sometimes I think it's REALLY CREEPY. And I'm sorry, but I might be the only person in the world who doesn't want Terri to just be out of the picture like that. I was always entertained by her craziness.

Exactly! From her end, SHE WAS TOTALLY GOING AFTER A MARRIED MAN supposedly having a child. Screw her OCD, she needs a motivational speech by Suzie Pepper about the issues going on *there*. I had so much respect for her for putting Will in his place in the fall finale, but then she swooned instead of slapping him when he kissed her. :(

Most definitely NOT! ._.; Terri and Will deserve each other lol, and Terri's actress elevates the character to way more than a one-note crazy wife. I'm pretty uncomfortable that the vibe from the show is that Terri and Will didn't fight before because Will was spineless/ignored what he didn't want to see ,and Terri was selfish and controlling. Terri changed realizing she loves Will and is still trying (re: personal and wanting marital counseling), where Will doesn't ( ... )

Parks and Rec pimping! I love it. And I was quoted!!! I get far too excited when people quote me. I really, really wish more people would give this show a chance. I know that season 1 wasn't all that great, but it's been consistently amazing all throughout season 2 (and, you know, The Office was pretty sucky in season 1, too ( ... )

PARKS AND REC IS THE GREATEST I WANT MY ENTIRE FLIST TO WATCH IT XPPPPP I am into it like I could never get into the Office! I think it's because of the pure, however-one-chooses-too-look-at-it love between Leslie and Anne and how fleshed out the supporting cast all are.

Agree with you on Glee as well. Less Will/Emma and Finn/Rachel would be good for the world. I don't even miss it right now. :(

I love that they keep poking at that too, but neither really care much. I still crack up when Leslie got that man hair updo and Anne resigned that she was Leslie's trophy wife for the evening.

IKR? I don't think I'll watch it live, but see how my f-list thinks of it to see if I should keep watching, otherwise I'm dedicated to Parks and Rec! 8D (And White Collar/Chuck)

Enough of Will, Emma, Finn and Rachel please. Unless yeah, it does deal with Will admitting his idiocy. I want more back stories for the rest of the club and Sue and Principal Figgins!

I've heard good things about Parks & Recreation. I should check it out then. Also, Modern Family and Community.

Figgins = A+! I want to know more about him. :x And if there are other crazy teachers at the school, because Will, Sue, and Coach are odd enough.

And as funny as Other Asian is, I want more of him too. His break dance moves are the shit.

YES TO MODERN FAMILY. Oh God, it is hysterical. And my family watches it obsessively and my mom "cast" everyone because she identifies so much with Claire Dunphy. Also, Mitchell and Cameron are amazing, my absolute favorites on the show.
