Update and Stupid Competition Announcement
I have just posted chapter 3 of Frodo's Exciting Day Out, "That's Elevenses? Right?" in which we take a quick detour to visit Galadriel and Celeborn for directions. Legolas finally catches up with Gimli, and Frodo and Sam meet someone quite unexpected - well not really that unexpected but they were surprised!

Announcing a Grand Competition!
At the end of this story I am inviting people to identify any major event or incident, from the original Quest, that is not dealt with here in some way!
The prize will be pretty much anything the winner chooses, from tea with KnittedMerry to a story or poem written in any style on any subject. Anything that is in my power to grant (except money, you can't have any of my money, because I want it all or my knittedhobbits, of course, or my stuff in general) but anything else, the winner is free to choose!
The competition will be adjudicated by a panel consisting of marigoldg, knittedmerry and knittedpippin and, although the knittedbeings outnumber the nonknittedbeings, I am sure there will be fair play.
Please have a go at the competition as it is free to enter and, I'm sure you will agree, the prize is pretty stupid stupendous!
