The semester has officially started off with a bang. Actually, quite a few bangs. Bangs that mainly deal with work. We had a nine hour light hang on wednesday night from 5 pm to 2 am in which we used EVERY SINGLE light that the PAC owns and still ended up stealing some from the theater. This is all for a group of Korean children who are much more talented than I will ever be in my entire life and are only 6-15 years old. They sing, dance, drum, play an instrument that I've never seen before.....it's amazing. I ended up working all day today, though "working" mainly consisted of sitting in a corner trying to stay out of the way and singing Disney songs and trying to understand Korean. Oh yes! That's what made the night even more interesting. Only one person on their crew spoke English and so of course we could never find her when we needed her so the entire show and load out was done mainly with gestures....which is a suprisingly interesting experience. It turned into a scene that reminded me of Love Actually. I would ask a question in English and they would say something in Korean and we never really understood what the other was saying but we just kept on talking and somehow things got done. It was neat!
Jordan: I am putting your gloves in the mail tomorrow. I promise!!!
On to bed so that I can rest and be ready for another 15 hour work day on Sunday. Hooray!!
