This is sort of "one of those" times. The Italian Festival is Saturday, and I've been frantically dressmaking in preparation (fan-making and jewelry-making already accomplished). We had the “March of the Babies” at the today; the little ones from the hospital’s Child Development Center paraded around the ground floor of the hospital and one of the medical parks. I’m just going to have to learn how to live with the pain from the migraines. That’s just all there is to it. I take the preventive meds as I’m supposed to, do the best I can to avoid the triggers, and still they come - today was a two-imitrex, one phenergan day, and I was still miserable. Off tomorrow to Hanahan for the day to celebrate my parents’ anniversary; it’s not the actual day, which I celebrated by having an upper endoscopy. The good news is that I have no ulcers from all the NSAIDS I take for my headaches (Tylenol, which I’m allowed to take post-gastric-bypass, does nothing for my headaches). The weather has been nasty, and I got a migraine last night so I had to take an imitrex, followed by a muscle relaxer because the imitrex tightened up the muscles in my neck so much.
