Savings isn't going according to plan. I've had a bunch of setbacks that are...well...setting me back!

I'm planning on going a cruise this year, but i'm not sure how far I'll get next year.

and today was one hellish flight. Fog in detroit, cross winds in denver. Long-layovers turning in to seconds between!

So far everything's going pretty well.  I have my flight to Chattanooga Tennessee booked.  I'll be out there exploring acres and acres of woods and mountain ranges from April 1st to 10th.

Decided to not go to Iowa.  My friends there aren't exactly in the position to 'entertain' me.  One of them being pregnant and the other living with her husband ( Read more... )

Phew!  Finally decided to get a start on this :)

I'm thinking about talking to a travel agent about planning my course.  Ideally I'll have around $10k for these travels.  Realistically I'm thinking only $8k.  We'll see how far I get with that!
