1) What are your first impressions of the journal? What did you like? Not like? How do you think things could be improved? Overall what did you think of the journal?
At first I was afraid this journal was going to be a bit too unfamilar, with the characters for a title, and creatures for user pics. But reading the entries really turned me on to it more. Biggest complaint is the lack of lj cuts on large items. More indepth posts would be great. Overall he seems to enjoy life and writing about it as well as the other things he finds amusing and shares with his readership. Great sense of humor.

Does the biography tell about the user?
gives full location, and a detailed brief history of his life, his attitudes and beliefs are also described.
Is it descriptive, creative, well thought out?
yes, it is detailed, descript, and not typical.
Are images included within the biography OR Is it customized in any special way that makes it stand out (customized fonts, color, links)?
yes, There are a few links, a quote, and his "furry code", no customized fonts or colors.
Does the biography provoke interest to read the journal?
Yes, he uses the space wisely to pique readers interest. He says "I 'm a gargoyle." Now who couldn't be interested after reading that?

If it is not broke, don't fix it. A picture of something would be nice to see, maybe some color.

1. Do they post frequently? Are there large gaps between posts? If so do they give explanations why?
He seems to post usually more than once a day with few gaps of more than a day. A week long gap in August- he was on leave and forewarns, 2 week long gaps in October- it appears to be work related. a gap in January is explained after a vacation. But I think 4,5,6, and more posts one some days, makes up for this.

2. Is the journal overall grammatically correct? Is the spelling, capitalization, punctuation good? Is it easy to read?
Good grammar and all that. spacing between paragraphs make it easier to follow.

3. Depth of posts: Do the posts have much substance to them? Do their posts consist of a good length or are they brief? Do the posts make you want to continue reading the journal?
There is a lot of computer jargon that may make some readers want to skip over certain posts. Most posts are fairly short. Some are even only a sentence or two long. At least the short posts contain variety. Writes about his day and other things he finds amusing.

4. Do posts flow well or is it difficult to follow their train of thought in journal entries?
He is usually straight to the point, and fairly concise. The only hinderance is the jargon on some entries.

5. Do the posts have overall variety? Do they stay on one subject or write about various things/events? Do they post pictures, links, quizzes or polls, if they do are they hidden by the lj-cut tags? Does that make up a major part of the journal or is there a balance between those things and written entries? Quizzes links and polls should be kept to a minimum and the lj cut tags should be used to cover them?
There is a lot of variety here. Long text posts, short text posts, pictures, cartoons, quizzes, etc. Most are not behind cuts which doesn't seem to be a problem since most entries only have 1 quiz or pic. A few of the pictures were pretty big though, users with smaller monitors and screen resolutions may find it bothersome.

Definately more indepth posts would be nice. LJ cuts would also be welcome on some of the larger photos and quizzes. Perhaps some of the shorter posts can be consolidated into fewer, longer posts. It is great that you post often though.

There is a blue/green color scheme going on, with white, sans serif text. Rather calming, nothing annoying, screaming in your face. Patterned background. The overall look has a "boy" feel to it. 7 links to other websites. Chinese/Japanese characters are used for his title. Comments are enabled but anonymous comments are disabled. Posts are public.
