On sports and my own dorkdom
Michigan State just totally rocked University of Illinois, 61-14. Yes, I'm talking about football. And this prospect - a winning team - has me excited. I know, I know, I'm a loser for caring about sports, for liking the violence and athleticism and competitive spirit that makes up a great football game. So fucking what. I like it. It's fun. Well, my brother-in-law is a U of I alum; he was a starting pitcher for their baseball team. So I get to rub this in his face. Hehe.
Other than this game, though, I hope U of I does well this year. Seems unlikely, but I'm rootin' for 'em.
