Today was pretty quiet but I got a bit done. Had class this morning, where we talked about Edith Wharton and the dying aristocracy of the 19th century. Interesting stuff, for the most part. So after class I went to Tesco to grab some stuff (peanut butter, jam, and bread) and was tempted by a display of bakery cookies so I grabbed a pack (five large cookies for 75p, not a bad deal) and felt guilty. But I WILL make them last. Really.
Had an uncomfortable experience with a drunk at the bus station who was kind of blocking the door to the bus. He didn’t smell so nice. I felt really sorry for him. Buses, man…you get all sorts…
Finished my Huck Finn paper this afternoon. I’m not entirely satisfied with it but I’ll edit it in the next couple of days and turn it in when I’m ready. Then I’ll take a short break before starting on my two final essays. Busy busy! ;)
I’m going to attempt to make meat-ful spaghetti sauce tonight. We’ll see how it goes.
