Huzzah for productivity! I did laundry today, finally, and though it cost me four pounds it was well worth it. And now I don’t have to worry about it for three weeks. :D I also took out the trash and caught up with a bit of American Lit reading. I really quite like Edgar Allen Poe. I’m a bit surprised crime dramas haven’t ripped him off more, though I suppose most of his stuff is a bit weird even for CSI.
I stupidly left the radiator on full blast last night, so I had a night warmer than I’ve had since leaving home - last fall! It was not very comfortable, but I slept well despite that and managed to cool the room down this morning by opening the window and shutting off the radiator. It was quite nice to have the window open all day, actually, with the sun and the fresh air.
I had my standard cheese sandwich for lunch but dinner I splurged a bit and bought frozen cannelloni! It was so good. I really love Italian food. :D
I’m thinking about dropping Greek Lit because even though I’m moderately enjoying the class, I think that three classes may be a bit too much to juggle. (I just realized how lazy that sounds…they’re three classes in three different departments, which means that they all have different deadlines and requirements and stuff that I was reading today and got really overwhelmed.) I would rather do well in the two classes than poorly in the three. As a bonus (possibly), Greek Lit is the only class with an exam so if I don’t take it, I may be able to leave early. :D We’ll see, but I’m very seriously considering this.
Right now, I really need to finish up my scholarship application and start (and finish) my internship essay because those are due first, in about a month. I also need to read read read for American Lit and Criminal Justice and figure out about the seminars in CJ. And I need to pay for Stonehenge on Monday, and go to the internship mid-session meeting on Monday as well…it’s looking like a busy week ahead, but after that things should calm down. Or calm up, as Teal’c says. (that’s for you, Jeana)
