First Day
Wow. So I only had one class today (a really boring poli-sci with about 200 people and a prof who mumbles) but I ran sooo many errands. Or at least, it felt like I did.
I had to turn in a form thing for a scholarship, at a building way the heck across campus from where I was (and, trust me, A&M is a LARGE campus). I had to buy paper for my printer. I had to get a minor declaration form (which led me to two different places and a lot of hassle, and I'm still not done). I had to buy envelopes at the very busy post office (although I was in line between two corps girls and their discussion made me happy).
I'm hot, I'm sweaty, I'm tired...welcome to college. ;)
Much heavier load tomorrow, starting at 9:35 and going until about 4, without a break. Eek. I'm hoping that the Geology prof will just cancel the lab, though, cuz really, what are you going to do on the first day? We'll see. I'm really looking forward to my film class, cuz I wrote the professor and he seems nice, and also my geology, because it's honors and so only about 15 people. History, not so much; it's material I'VE ALREADY COVERED and in a huge class again. Ah, well. First semester's not supposed to be fun, is it?
I need to go buy my hall T-shirts now. And go to the post office. Eurgh...
