Bold the true statements.
1. Father went to college
2. Father finished college
3. Mother went to college
4. Mother finished college (My dad said I should clarify this: I interpreted "finished college" as a bachelor's degree, which is probably a bit biased of me, but mom did get two associate's degrees.)
5. Have any relative who is an attorney, physician, or professor. (Attorney *and* a physician, actually. No professors, though. I don't think.)
6. Were the same or higher class than your high school teachers. (I'm not really sure what they mean by class so I'm going with socioeconomic class...by which I'm going to assume they mean amount of money made...and frankly, I don't *know*.)
7. Had more than 50 books in your childhood home.
8. Had more than 500 books in your childhood home.
9. Were read children's books by a parent. (Mummy did all the Pooh voices. :D)
10. Had lessons of any kind before you turned 18. (Piano for three years.)
12. The people in the media who dress and talk like me are portrayed positively. (well, that's tricky, but generally the guy realizes that he really does love the nerdy girl after all - though she has usually been turned into someone who most definitely does *not* dress like me...)
13. Had a credit card with your name on it before you turned 18.
14. Your parents (or a trust) paid for the majority of your college costs. (oh, as if)
15. Your parents (or a trust) paid for all of your college costs.
16. Went to a private high school. (though my private elementary and junior high were both at schools with high schools...but I don't think that's what they mean.)
17. Went to summer camp.
18. Had a private tutor before you turned 18.
19. Family vacations involved staying at hotels. (Well, not *often* - certainly not where we had any sort of tenuous connection with anyone within fifty miles of where we were going...)
20. Your clothing was all bought new before you turned 18. (That's a big fat NO. And it still is.)
21. Your parents bought you a car that was not a hand-me-down from them. (*snicker* Bought me a car? Well, they did just get me a bike...but it was a free hand-me-down of sorts...)
22. There was original art in your house when you were a child. (Dad informs me that we did. From people that we knew. Or my parents knew, anyway, since I apparently was not aware of this.)
23. You and your family lived in a single-family house.
24. Your parent(s) owned their own house or apartment before you left home.
25. You had your own room as a child. (I did share for seven years, though)
26. You had a phone in your room before you turned 18.
27. Participated in a SAT/ACT prep course.
28. Had your own TV in your room in high school.
29. Owned a mutual fund or IRA in high school or college.
30. Flew anywhere on a commercial airline before you turned 16. (Ha! Um. Yes. Most definitely yes. lol)
31. Went on a cruise with your family. (Well, my mom and grandma. Grandma paid. ;) )
32. Went on more than one cruise with your family.
33. Your parents took you to museums and art galleries as you grew up. (Well, not sure it really counts, but when we went through Europe when I was twelve we hit some museums. And there were school trips, yes.)
34. You were unaware of how much heating bills were for your family.
Well, *I* feel privileged. In a good way, and not in a hoity-toity way...
