We have found a piece of land that we can make an off on. Listing is here.
It's an old farm, right on the outskirts of a small town called Republic. There are 160 acres, with an unlivable old farmhouse and a couple of mostly-fallen-down outbuildings.
The cost is $120K and they might consider land contract terms. I haven't been able to talk to the real estate guy yet -- we're playing phone tag.
