RE: Identification

I didn't get an answer last time I posted so I figured that I would try again. I will try to scan in a picture when I can. I have a tree that I am trying to identify. It is an evergreen, the leaves are long and thin, they resemble small willow leaves (smooth, no ridges). The plant roots very readily and it smells like tomato when the leaves are touched or bruised. When I collected the parent plant, which had a 1 inch thick trunk (in rural LA), it was in fruit and they were small and orange/red (about the size of a shooter marble, about 1/2 inch). The fruit looked like cherry tomato on the inside (same seed shape). The flowers are five petals, small and pear shaped and a bright yellow center, oh and it flowers all year long. Although it resembles tomato (in smell and fruit), the leaves and flowers are totally off from any type I have heard of and this doesn't die back in the fall or wither or anything. I have even looked up the tomato tree online but the leaves/flowers are all wrong for that too. I am still at a loss. I have one in training at the moment, I just wish I knew what it was. Any ideas guys? Anyone want a cutting? They root like the Dickens :) I'll post a picture as soon as I can, might only be a cutting when I do though, depends on whether or not I have to use a digital camera or the scanner.
