I brought a bonsai, its brought not born :P
I'm growing my own out of native trees (I live in Australia), But I wanted one now. So I went out and brought one.
Before you ask I can tell you its not a 'mallsai' it was brought from a local and well trusted nursery. Infact its a few members from a local bonsai groups nursery.
Its a Juniper sargent(sp?) Its around 7" tall and looks really healthy. The nursery said that I wouldn't need to do much as this style is designed for peopl who like the appearence, meaning it looks like a real tree only smaller.
But its a little to bushy for my tastes, but I know almost nothing about bonsai, should I attempt to design it?
And does anyone have experience on how well such a tree will go in the tropics of Australia? (By tropics I mean our winter still makes you sweat)
Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
