Hi,
I just found this group and you may all hate me but I'm about to shake things up a bit.

Now, I'm sure you've researched the question, but I did want to correct you briefly. The Guardian was the one who defined what the term in the Kitab-i-Aqdas meant (http://www.bnasaa.org/sexuality.html#homosexuality).
The second thing is regarding the Universal House of Justice. Baha'u'llah was the one who created the Institution, Abdu'l-Baha explained the details, and the Guardian helped pave the way for its eventual existence (that is a very simplified timeline, but you get the point). Regardless of whether we understand the reasons for things or not, the Universal House of Justice is an integral part of the Baha'i Faith. :-)
I don't think that I have an answer for you. However, whenever I come across something in the Faith that I don't understand, I consider a few points. First, are these things that I don't understand really something that I am willing to give up the vast blessings of the Faith for? Second, it is presumptuous of me to think that I know the correct answers to things, seeing as how humanity tends to be convinced about certain things (Earth is flat, racial inequality, etc etc), only to be proven wrong. I can only assume that the laws of the Faith are there for my growth and protection.
much love!
