FAQ 80 states "They will not receive an email informing them of the invitation." However, there is now an option in the MC to be notified of invites, including of course by email. We should remove or modify this sentence.

Updated to say that if you let people know that you invited them to a comm by way of a bunch of comments to their posts, that still potentially qualifies as spam. :P

There's been yet more (reasonable) complaints that it's hard to find the Community Invites page. So I changed the FAQs a bit, since I can't change the link structure. :)

Taking my first serious look at FAQ 77 (What is a community?), much of the last four paragraphs contains information that is unrelated to the question itself.

Given that FAQ 85 (How do I find a community?) is pretty short, I have a feeling that the contents of the two could be merged into one big "What is a community? How do I find one?" FAQ if 77 ( Read more... )

I thought we had an FAQ that described how to grant posting access to a closed community via the Admin Console, but I couldn't find it today. If we do, could someone direct me to it. If we don't, could we add the commands to the How do I configure my community? FAQ.
