FYI, I've temporarily renamed the "status - pending" or whatever it was to just plain "pending", because of the bug that causes tags starting with "status" to not work. Just in case it breaks a million links somewhere, that's what happened.

I've been working on collecting various and assorted policy-type posts from this community and migrating the content over to the Support Wiki. So, there's a pretty new Documentation support category. As coffeechica mentioned in the lj_support post regarding the category, it's intended to help users more easily report problems with documentation and site text.

However, since we don't want to overload the support board with stale green requests, we'll also be using lj_userdoc the way ( Read more... )

I have stepped down from my userdoc manager and documentation editor positions, both effective immediately. It's been fun working with all of you, and I appreciate having had that opportunity. (Except Abe. You're still a traitor to The Cause.)

Now that the new Account Settings page is live, pretty much any faq that refers to /manage/settings/ or /manage/comments/ needs to be edited to update the links. I've done a few, but it looks like several more still need to be changed (and variable-ized). By faqcat, they are:

I needed a new docadmin, to take care of abuse FAQs. I was afraid finding one would be hard, and indeed I only got one application. But it soon became obvious that the applicant would be able to take the heat and do a hell of a job.

( Still, I had reservations. )
