life lately
Well so far the end of the summer has been going pretty well! I went to Minnesota the weekend before last and had a good time at the conference!! I got to spend an evening with Isabelle! She showed me around Minneapolis which was amazing. Then I saw Em, Brit, Angie, Celia, and several of the other people I've gotten to know over the years. Since it was the 20th anniversary of the society, they focused alot on the different conferences over the years! It was nice to work with the year (7-10 year old) girls again this year, I think they got alot out of it. I even met alot of new people. One of the girls I met, is a 15 year old named Lauren. She was just diagnosed with TS in October so this was her first conference. I really tried to help her out because I could tell she was having a hard time. I felt so good because at the end of that weekend she told me how much of difference I've made in her life! Other then Minnesota, I've been here in Birmingham babysitting. I'm almost done with that though, and I can't wait to get moved into my new apartment with Brittany and Hallie! We met for dinner last night and talked about what all we're going to need to get for our apartment. If all goes as planned, I'll be back in J-ville within a week or so!!!!!!!!!!
