As of about 7:30 this morning, I am back on the healthy eating bandwagon. I've been trying to kick myself in the butt for about a year now, and nothing has clicked! But friday night, I think I finally found my inspiration

We can do this together! I decided this weekend that I'm getting back in shape. I think Keri was the one that started the bandwagon. Anywho, I packed a gym bag this morning so lets just hope I use it at lunch! But I am eating tortilla chips and a dip for breakfast right now (light cream cheese, turkey sausage, and rotel) baby steps. Your goal is the boots... now I need one.
Yeah my pants are a little tighter than I'd like too... I had to go up a size in my last jeans I just bought and I wasn't happy about that (though I blame shrinkage when you wash the jeans... ha! I'm starting to see a muffin top with some of my formfitting shirts and pants so I want that gone stat!
Rotel is diced tomatoes and chiles in a can. Yummy! I use it in my mom's meatloaf recipe too :)
oohhhh, I have had that, i totally forgot it existed! Mostly because I know it in conjunction with velveeta cheese as a totally delicious and disgustingly unhealthy salsa dip and had tried to erase it from memory :) Your cream cheese and turkey dip is sounding pretty delicious though, and slightly healthier i might add...
I totally get it!nutcaseinutahOctober 13 2008, 14:18:11 UTC
Chica, I know exactly how you feel. I have the fatty calves myself, always have even when I was down to 110! I fell off the wagon several months ago but have had problems getting back on. I hit the wall and can't seem to climb over it! Use the journal to discuss what you have been doing, and we can encourage you!!
Don't let the boots get you down! Even when I was in college and working out 3 hours a day... I still could never get my calves in a pair of boots! Even now, I've only ever found one pair. Fitting and then not fitting would be a kick in the butt, but a good kick in the butt! I think all of us could afford to live a little healthier.
