It was very windy, but sunny and mild today. I walked over to Grandmothers' Garden earlier (you can see the fruits of my walk over on
my photo blog), went grocery shopping, had a snack, and walked down to Stanley Park. I got blown around a bit, but it was worth it. So many things coming into bloom!
Is this hellebore?
I watched the swan chase off the geese, but I was too far away to get pictures. I was annoyed at the people who crowded around them, and at most of the people there in general. Just listening to their conversations confirmed my distaste for the teeming masses, and looking at all the bread floating in the pond was eyeroll-worthy. Bread is not a proper food for geese and ducks. Especially glommy white bread. Sheesh. I wish the park would do what the Audubon does at Blue Hills, and install coin-op dispensers with wild bird chow.
Walking around looking at the apple trees about to burst into bloom restored my sense of peace.
