Even though it's a bit chilly today, it's spectacularly pretty out there, and I spent my lunch hour at Heritage Park taking in the early autumn beauty. I found these thistles bursting with down and shining in the sunlight.
The trees are starting to look colorful as well.
May and September are my favorite months, for the weather and for nature's gifts.
