Supernatural Season One Finale
OH GOD, THIS SHOW HAS LEFT ME COMPLETELY WRECKED. I love all of them so much, and they'd do anything for each other, but this? This was terrible and completely fantastic. Half the time I was cheering for Meg because she's such an amazing character and the other half I was screaming about their family issues and the fact that they were talking about their feelings, in their way.
*The Yellow Eyed Demon is so terrifying and devious, with the way he hunts down kids with psychic abilities and gets them when they're six months old. He's a genius and I almost like him in the strange way you semi-approve of bad guys.
*Also, John is such a great character once you actually see him onscreen for more than a phone call. I was thinking that he's a real jerk with the way he treats his sons, but he's so much more complex than that. And now I know where Sam and Dean get their fiercely overprotective passionate revenge thing from.
*I love Meg, even when she's killing people John loves, because she's so damn good at it. And the exorcism scene? So perfect! Just completely in character for both the girl and the demon inside of her. Oh Meg <3
*zempasuchil puts my feelings about this show best: hahaha, this is pretty much how I watch that show, being incoherent, all "SHOW OMG SHOWWWWW OMG DEAN! DEEEAN! SAM! AAAHH SHOW!"
*AND THEN DEAN CARRIES THE BABY OUT OF THE BURNING HOUSE, JUST LIKE HE DID WITH SAMMY ALL THOSE YEARS AGO
*More talking about feelings and being brotherly. OH BOYS!
*And then it's a CLIFFHANGER, GOD DAMN! This show, it wrecks my heart. Luckily I just went on to the next episode right away
*Bobby is really a cool character! I've heard alot about him, but he's much cooler in person. And the way he helps them with the exorcism and figuring out that she's not actually a demon, but she's possessed by one, and if they get it out of her, it will kill the body! He's just amazing in so many ways
*Things I think are really sexy: Sam speaking Latin, Dean being angry, Dean being protective, Sam seen through Dean's eyes, the way Sam smiles really quick and goes back to his normal face when he's nervous, Jerk/Bitch, Dean' rougish wink, this entire show, etc.
*And then they go to save their father! I guessed pretty quickly that he was possessed, because John would never say "Hey, why are you splashing water all over me?" Because this man knows his stuff and he'd completely understand right away that it's holy water. So that was what tipped me off. But I ignored the warning signs because he was so busy being a good dad and telling Dean that he did the right thing. OH SHOW, you just reel me in, and the scary thing is that it takes like no effort at ALL.
*AND SAM CHOOSES DEAN! OH SAMMY, YOU AND YOUR DIFFICULT DECISIONS. This scene was so intense and lovely.
*Then my stupid megavideo ran out just when Sam was pinned to the wall and I had to wait at least an hour to see the last ten minutes. Luckily zempasuchil warned me that this episode would be a cliffhanger too, so I just waited for the morning.
*Oh YED, so good at baiting Dean. It almost worked too.
*But then Sam can gain superpowers as soon as his brother is in danger. OH SAM! OH DEAN! OH SHOW!
*And then he won't shoot his father, even though it could end the whole thing he's been working on his whole life. Sam, you've reached a new level of maturity.
*AND THEN THEY GET HIT BY A TRUCK! WTF SHOW, DON'T DO THIS TO ME! YOU CAN'T END A SEASON FINALE LIKE THIS, YOU JUST CAN'T!
In conclusion, this show owns my life. It hurts me like nothing else, but I keep coming back for more, I can't help it. OH SHOW!
