Shallow thoughts

Sometimes I try to write something deep and profound and words just fail  me. Then I realize that I'm just faking anyway and I never did have anything to say in the first place. And I wonder if the Doctor's companions ever feel like this when they're around him. Or maybe he himself knows that he's just putting on a show for his benefit. Then I think I'll write a short story about that.

But words fail me again

So, does anyone else ever feel this way, or is it just me?
