Fandomy Academia Stuff
1) I'm writing a story about truth, lies, and the stories that form us. I really hope lassiterfics doesn't mind that I'm reading all of her fics for inspiration. Especially that Narnia/Emile Durkheim one, or the one where Castiel is words.
2) Rereading Midnight's Children for Literature. I love all the themes of ambiguity, and also: Knees and a Nose and a Nose and Knees. I swear that makes sense if you read the book, which everyone should do. Cue flaily-incoherent rambling, coming soon to an f-list near you.
3) In French, we need to write a story about "deux jeunes, un singe, une locomotive et trois agents de police" which my messed up, fandom-influenced mind immediately translated into "Sam, Dean, an Angel of the Lord, a treasured Impala, and a crowd of suspicious humans" Save my brain or I actually will write about Castiel as a monkey. Lord help me, I'm not even on episode four of the FIRST series, and I'm already planning to write crack for it. In French.
