Just another boring couple of days, like always. Monday, in the morning I volunteered at the Settlement Home like I have been doing for the past couple of weeks. Which is horrible and fun at the same time. I haven't mentioned this yet in any of my posts so I'll do it now. It's horrible because people donate absolute trash. The other week we opened a box and took out a coffeemaker with GROUNDS STILL IN IT!! It was so nasty. And then yesterday I opened this old crumbling box to find a cobwebby head of a pitchfork. I swear bile raised in my throat. The worst is when you open a box of just random garbage, like McDonalds toys and tools and plates, etc. I LOVE when people donate stuff by category. Like a whole box of books, or a whole box of clothing or a whole box of kitchen wear because then we can just take it straight back to the corresponding table. It's when you get gross, random shit when it gets irritating. Yesterday, my heart was just not in it. I felt horrible. I must have looked like such a slacker. I don't why I had so little energy, it was odd. The ladies who work there are so nice though. I never would have known how awesome old ladies could be unless I had volunteered. They can get dirty, I'm telling you--I had no idea they talked about the things they did. It's hysterical.
Caroline and I went to Target and I ended up getting two DVD's for like $11.30, which is a really good deal. I got Cast Away and Fever Pitch, two movies I love. I was so excited when I saw they were on sale for 5.50, I cried. I wanted to buy An American Haunting but it was like 13.00 and I didn't feel like spending that much. Pretty much all we did that day. Oh, we went to Blockbuster last night and rented State of Grace and Casino Royale. We decided to be open and just rent a movie that we hadn't seen before. We are never open-minded about renting movies, we always end up renting movies we've seen before, it's horrible. Anyway, we rented these two. State of Grace is a really good movie and very underrated. It's a gangster movie but I think it came out the same year as Goodfellas, so it was sort of unoticed. Definitely one of Gary Oldman's best performances, he is simply amazing in it. I can't wait to watch Casino Royale tonight, Daniel Craig is delicious.
I went to the Tarry House gym with Grandma today. I hope I make a habit of that, because exercise gives you endorphins and endorphins make you happy. Oh shameless Legally Blonde quote. Of course I come home and eat a cookie. One Milano ( mmm). It's not like I ate a box. I don't know what my plans are tonight...I haven't hung out with friends in a while. Perhaps I should call one. HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS COMES OUT ON SATURDAY!!! AHHHHHH

PS. I forgot to mention that the Legally Blonde Musical soundtrack came out today, I immediatley bought it. Boy, I've spent alot of money recently.
