Apparently there's a lot of fuss about the latest DW update, so I wanted to put something up to play with it for a bit.

It turns out the problem with crossposting from Dreamwidth is, basically, LJ being jerks again. (They're blocking DW IP addresses, and claiming they can't not, despite having not for ten years or so.) I just turned on beta testing for the "HTTPS Everywhere" feature -- this is just to make sure I can, in fact, actually post via my ancient browser and snail-slow internet connection.

LJ has a new TOS, which pops up so you have to agree to it to use the service. (I actually give them points for the obnoxious, intrusive, unavoidable pop-up, rather than just slipping the changes into the TOS and not calling attention to it.)
