Completely wtf time
All right, I'm not usually ms.prompt-check-my-e-mail-compulsively, but this time it defiantly calls for
the wtf icon!! I sent in my adoption app almost a week ago. I know they said they are slow to respond,
but I'm seriously getting impatient. I know I know, I should calm down, they said they can take weeks
to respond, but I'm giving them not a day over a month! That's my drawing line!
(It's a very generous line...)
I'm going to an upcoming reptile show, hopefully my dream girl will be there for sale. (Yes I want more then one.) I doubt it but the fingers and toes are still crossed.
Winter is not a grand breeding season for reptiles.
*GRUMBLE* You know this couldn't possibly be more difficult. If only I were uneducated and not picky
I could just walk to a pet store right now, drop the money on the counter and walk away with an
ugly withered mite infested snake and be happy for the few weeks it survived. That would be so easy.
(This is where I sit in silence thinking how stupid it was for me to think that).
And I'm still awaiting another important e-mail that could potentially work out to be a big deal
if I can get this person to work for me for a reasonable price.
