english paper 2. i think i did okay. definitely wrote on the stone angel and the sound and the fury. i'm glad we read at least one book this year that i'm definitely taking to college and re-reading. i admit that i'm a dirty person and that i read sparknotes last night to study up. but the more analysis i read, the more i want to go back and draw my own conclusions. while i agree on some points, i find myself questioning a lot of literary criticism as of late. amazing, i'm learning to actually formulate my own opinions. let's see how long this lasts.
afterward michael, heather, lindsey and i went to chik-fil-a for breakfast. i was really looking forward to this, as i love chik-fil-a and have never had their breakfast food. alas, it was quite delicious, but not worth five dollars.
then debate. well, i helped michael wrap up his cas folder. i stumbled across a reflection that i found quite comical. he doesn't even try to conceal how much of a lazy ass he is, and he's sending these in to god knows where, cardiff or probably something like that. anyway, i took it from him so i could, dear reader, share my amusement with you.

This activity provided me with a small amount of insight into what it is like to go hungry. I observed many other people being hungry and complaining about being hungry. I felt I made a difference because of the money I raised. It surprised me how hungry I was. I encountered the problem of hunger, and overcame it by playing poker. I learned that it is possible for me to go for 30 hours without food. It benefited others becuase of the money raised and the awareness made known. It connects to the broader social issues of global starvation. I learned that other people who worked with me could do the same thing.
i know, right?
anyway... after that, jameson and i went to richardson square mall. we wandered around target, browsed the dollar rack [of course] and found nothing amusing or of interest worth the entire dollar. about this time last year when jameson and i went to target during debate i purchased a little flower growing kit off the dollar rack but due to my negligence they quickly died.
then we went to the arcade, where i beat jameson at air hockey. what now, jimmy? well my goals were somewhat illegitimate, but that's all in the past now. then i watched him play soul caliber ii because the awesome skateboarding game was broken and i was pissed off. then we raced, cruising exotica!! since we were retards and couldnt lock in to the same race we competed for place and he beat me 3rd-4th, then I him 2nd-6th or something like that. anyway, then we had to go back to school.
fourth period i had english. we took a culture quiz which was pretty cool. i think i'm going to use it to filter potential dates. study up on your culture boys, i know you're just waiting for michael to dump me.
i think that's all. see how i try my hardest to avoid studying for the history exam tomorrow? oh well.
