Help!

My printer is refusing to print black. The colour and black cartridges are both pretty much full, colour is printing fine but black won't. Normal sized black text won't print at all and large black text or any black parts of pictures are bringing in shades of dark red/green/purple

Just in case - there are a few cartridge refill places in Bristol and those are cheaper than buying a new one. They don't usually fill yours up and give it back to you - they have a load already filled up and you get one of those - so if it's an issue with that particular cartidge you wouldn't just get it back again. Don't know if you'll be near any of them but may be worth a shot.
