Wow, it never ceases to amaze me how for such a large student body (roughly 48,000 students), I always manage to run into the same people over and over again. Case in point...

Yesterday, saw Gaelissa (the one dance friend I've kept in touch with) and Shaynester within the first five minutes on campus ( Read more... )

I've been trying desperately to find an English class that fits my schedule and doesn't require the writing of a paper that's more than 2000 words, and I haven't found any. I am horrible at English; I'm definitely more of a math and science person. I like the sound of your class though, but I suppose I'll have to wait until I'm a junior to get into any good English classes because they're always full up before I can register. Good luck with your classes, and I can't wait for drop/add to be over because I'll actually know what my schedule will be this semester.

Yeah, it took me until this semester to really get to pick my English class.

AML2070 is different for each section though... keep that in mind for the future.

Yeah, all the Lit courses are different for each section. I signed up for ENL 2022 this semester, and it's a Survey of English Lit from 1750 to present, and the TA narrowed the topic to only Gothic Fiction. So I dropped that. I looked at various syllabi for different sections of AML 2070, and in general, AML 2070 looks to be the easiest Lit class. By easy, I mean they have more shorter papers or the long papers count for a small portion of the grade. Well, thanks for the advice.
