I am now officially a rock chick (well, at least I say so).
Got my final Christmas gift today: my very own shiny beautiful bass guitar.
Been playing it for roughly... five hours now. Bass is actually really fairly easy. I have lots to learn, but...
I can already play "I Miss You" by Incubus! Yeah, it's reaaaalllly easy, but considering that's one of my favorite Incubus songs ever, I'm quite happy.
I can also play a rendition of "Float On" that's a bit slow, but still recognizable. I've just been surfing for tabs and playing what I feel like. But now my fingers/wrists hurt, so I'm giving it a break...
Can't wait to have bass guitar wars with the guy that lives below me next semester. Muwahahah ;) (Not really).
