(no subject)
Ok... SO. I don't think I'm going to do a detailed trip journal... here's the short version: MGM was fun, since I hadn't been there since I was 9. It was weird to be in a theme park where I didn't know what was there, or where the hell to go. I've been to every other theme park in Florida (with the exception of Animal Kingdom) so many times I could navigate with my eyes closed. Rock 'n' Rollercoaster was worth the whole trip, even if the other rides were kinda silly. But we were there for the Christmas lights anyway. The backlot tour was hilarious... it was freezing and we didn't want to get wet so my parents and I were practically sitting on each other to avoid getting splashed. hahaha.
Christmas lights were breathtaking (pics below don't do them justice). Epcot was fun before the rain. I got to "act german" in germany. I was pretty distracted all day though, looking for Jason. Still, Epcot will always be one of my faves. The Gaylord Palms was amazing. Ice Exhibit was cool (har har, kept at 9 degrees...I liked it). Dinner in "Key West"... amazing seafood and a live band playing some really classic songs, including "Brown-eyed Girl" (that's ME!).
Now, pics! I'll do the Christmas ones now, the Myakka State Park ones later. First, lights at MGM and me acting german in Germany.
I look like I'm wearing a graduation gown instead of a parka. lol.
