BSing my way...
So maybe I'm not as stupid as I thought...
I got an 80 on my Molds, Mildews, Mushrooms and Man test. I literally did NO studying for that test at all. I barely pay attention in class... just highlight the text as he reads it. I read the material on the bus on the way to the test...
As I figured it, the first test would be the hardest, because we had to know all the biology about fungi. I have little to no biology background (10th grade non-honors biology taught me how to make outlines and label pictures), so I figured I was screwed anyway, why put too much effort into a test that would most likely be my drop?
AND I GOT AN 80. If I can do that without studying, imagine what would happen if I DID study! Amazing! My first BS class at UF that is actually, well, BS!
In other good news, I met with my MMC2100 lab TA, Frank, today for our scheduled meeting (extra credit). He fixed my first lab grade (so now it's a 77.5 instead of a 72.5...thanks) and was very apologetic. Before I left, he said: "Your writing is really strong. Just keep doing what you're doing." WOOO!
Met Jonathan for our (now) traditional Thursday lunch. We went to (surprise!) Chipotle, but in all fairness to him, it was by my request. He is slowly but surely getting me addicted as well.
