(no subject)
As reported in Jonathan's journal (jmcptbackfire), I am no longer single.
So now that I've cut my readership in half (those pesky stalkers)...
Dr. Dodd just gave me the most amazing opporunity. For those who aren't journalism majors, Dr. Dodd teaches MMC2100... the first of the intensive journalism writing courses which tends to make half the class switch majors before the semester is through ;). As I stated earlier, she goes waaaay back with my high school newspaper/magazine advisor...
SO. Class ends and Dr. Dodd asks if she can talk to me after class. So once all the questions from other students have been answered, she took me up to her office and offered me an opporunity to be PUBLISHED. Keep in mind, she's never read anything I've written and knows nothing about me, other than that I was on Mrs. Maassen's staff and was a student rep/co-chair for FSPA. So... she gave me a list of contacts and my assignment (sorta). I'm PUMPED. She gave me the list of people I need to contact, and they're all people I worked with in FSPA. I'm actually really really excited to get to talk to Ms. Solazzo again (my fellow "prejudiced-nazi", as we were deemed by Catcom). AHHHH!
