So yesterday afternoon I was just sitting around chatting, waiting for 5 PM so that we could go to Newberry's. And then an IM pops up from...
Scafidi: i contend that your victory last night was purely because of the teams chosen. i heretofore challenge you to a re-match, with both of us battling as the same team.
After much more of this type of business speak and telling me that my destiny awaited me, he broke down and started talking smack. After he was satisfied with that, he said: "I'll be waiting at the nintendo, bitch." and put up an away message that said: "liz is a snatch." So yeah, I couldn't just let that go.
So I get to their apartment and knock on his door and he informs me that he's naked, so I promptly go upstairs to Waxlax's room. lol. Christina and Nikki were over there so I said hi and then headed back downstairs when it was finally safe. Matt played the Mario theme from level two on his bass, per my request, and then the rematch began.
I chose West Germany again and as player 2 had the handicap of having to play with a different looking team. That was a bit confusing at first. I took an early lead, but he came back to match it. For a while it was 4-3 with him winning, but in the last minute I scored, bringing it to 4-4. He couldn't get anything else done, so that's how the game finished. He wanted to play again, determined to beat me, but it was time to go to dinner so I declined. After all the smack talking about how he was going to kill me without the handicap, we tied. So =P.
Waxlax was still loitering around the apartment, so Matt let me listen to his very first demo tape. Back when he used to call himself "the IRON man". It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, but still pretty cheesy. My mom called at this time and I told her "I'm listening to Matt's tapes when he used to suck..." to which my mom replies: "Used to?" I DIED laughing and told Matt my mom just called him out. I told him what she said and he just scowled and said: "No free CDs for her!" lol. I love my mom. =)
Dinner at Newberry's was great, as always. We had a huge group... Matt Mc., Prazak, Dimsey, Scafidi, Nikki, Christina, Emily, Joanne, Waxlax, Becca2, Shylie and of course me. Nikki is scared of Scafidi and ended up having to sit by him, so that was comical. Mmmm... BBQ.
After dinner Shylie, Natalie, Richard and I studied at Starbucks. I made a ton of flashcards, but Richard didn't really get anything done because he was too busy socializing with my lovely girls. Afterwards the studying both Natalie and Shylie were in love with Richard and when he took me home he was saying how awesome they were =) It's rare that my friends and my PSP friends cross pathes, so I'm glad =)
