Waxlax and I definitely ended up in Georgia last night. He called me at 2:30 AM and asked if I wanted to go for a drive around Alachua County. I agreed, thinking we'd be back around 4 or 5 AM. We started driving and ended up getting into some really deep conversations. We both shared some information that we hadn't told virtually anyone, so that led to even more deep conversations.
And before we knew it, we were in Georgia. I started cracking up, to which Waxlax said: "I don't know very many people that would be thrilled with that fact."
We stopped in some small town, got drinks, and started the trip home. I wish he and I had talked about this stuff a month ago. We've both been going through VERY similar situations emotionally and it would have been great if we'd known a while back so that we could have had someone to talk to. Well, at least we know now!
I'd only talked to really one other person about my problem, so it took a lot for me to actually tell him.
We got back to Gainesville around 8 AM, finished our conversation, and then he dropped me off back at my dorm and I went to sleep. I still find it hilarious that we were in Georgia.
Tonight I went to Newberry's with Waxlax and Hogan and then Faith invited me as well, so it ended up being Waxlax, Hogan, Faith, Moody, Colleen, Marissa, Bryn, Matt Mc and one of Marissa's friends. The food took forever to get to us, but I didn't really care because the company was so great. I love Phi Sig.
