Atlanta or bust!

Nov 11, 2005 01:15

I can't tell you how much better it is to be thinking about waking up tomorrow and driving to Atlanta, as opposed to last year's National Convention in Memphis. Nothing sucks quite like sitting through a six-hour voting meeting, packing for an hour or two, and then embarking on a 14-hour car ride on zero sleep. Granted it was completely worth it and tons of fun, but man... it's so much more relaxing to get to sleep and only have five hours to think about. Here's to the 26-30 of us brothers that are going to National Convention!!!! woot!

In honor of the trip, I've created a couple of Liz's signature roadtrip CD's. Please note: You should not judge my musical taste based on my roadtrip CDs. My roadtrip CDs generally include a bunch of 80s/90s songs that everybody knows for the optimal karaoke experience. That way, everyone is happy and singing along. This is starting to get harder, because Mishy keeps riding with me (our fourth roadtrip, right?) so I have to keep finding more old songs to keep her on her toes. Speaking of which, Mishy, if you happen to see this before we leave, NO PEEKING!

With that in mind,
