Reporting mantra: this sucks!
Can I just say that having to do the tip sheet for reporting this week has only made me hate the class even more?
Doing the tip sheet requires you and your partner to come up with 20 different story ideas, so that your classmates have an easy ride (although, most weeks I've ended up coming up with ideas on my own because the tip sheets sucked). But you don't have to just come up with the story idea. No, you also have to flesh it out, make up roughly four questions in order to give the classmate an idea of the angle of the story and then also provide contacts (names, phone numbers, e-mails). It's a serious pain in my arse.
I have to finish my 10 tonight so that Charity and I can present them to Foley tomorrow after lecture. He rips them apart, and then we present them again on Wednesday for our grade. Yippee!
Only three weeks left, right? *whew* It's going to be crazy hectic though: Weezer tomorrow night, another Macro test next Monday, two articles for INsite due the 25th and the 27th and two more reporting articles.
And then I will throw a party, because this hellish semester will be over! YAAAAY!
