The happy things are the little things...
Like an America's Next Top Model Season 2 marathon on VH1 yesterday. Or having dinner at Panera and watching Sliding Doors with Mishy. Like John Hannah, with his lovely Scottish accent. Oh, to find a cute, funny, single guy with an accent and long hair ;) Not to mention the last few episodes of Sex and the City, which were absolute perfection.
What the funk?
I'm in a serious summer funk, which I can only blame on wishing I could be back at the beach (one week certainly wasn't long enough) and my class schedule (five more weeks of reporting and macro... please shoot me now). Add to this the awful roommate situation and you have Liz in perpetually swinging moods and feeling like a complete bum.
Surprise!
I called my mom earlier today to ask her to have Dawn at the DeSoto Sun e-mail Foley so that I can get my 15 extra credit points for getting published back at home. Only... a man answered the phone. I was confused, because it certainly wasn't my dad. Checked the phone to make sure I dialed the correct number, which I did, so I said: "Hello?" Again. Then the man said: "She sounds confused" and I recognized the voice. Sulzman! "Shouldn't you be here at band camp?" He asked. "No, but shouldn't you?" "Yeah, I guess I'll head that way now," he replied and handed the phone to my mom. LOL. I'd forgotten this week was band camp back at home. Apparently they do skits at camp now, so my mom had to go in order to watch the skits, but she eventually called me back. Awww... to think that I actually miss band camp.
