Star Wars Episode III was amazing.
1) Ewan McGregor is hot even as an aging Obi-Wan. As a bonus to Ewan's hotness, Obi-wan completely steals the movie with multiple kick-ass light saber fights and by having the best lines of the film. Ewan is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors.
2) Loved how they tied up all the loose ends and for the first time it really did feel like the pre-quel to the older movies, as the history behind the future events start to take shape.
3) Yay for R2D2 still being awesome. Yay for having minimal C3PO (he was rather annoying in Episodes 4-6, if you ask me). Yay for seeing, but not hearing, Jar Jar Binks.
4) I definitely want to see it again.
In Episode 6, Luke asks Leia if she remembers her mother. She says yes, and says that she was sad most of the time. So I assumed Padme would live and go with Leia to Alderaan before I went into the movie today.
Well, then it's clear that Leia is adopted, so it makes me wonder why her mom was sad all the time. Why there was an emphasis on that in Episode 6?? I guess Luke would have no way of knowing that it wasn't their real mother that raised Leia, but... still. Do you think they goofed, or is that how it was supposed to be??
