WELL HI!
I'm trying to churn out as many updates as I can, because I have played soooooo far ahead, you guys, my God. So there will be an ample amount of updating here in the next few days. Starting NOW!
When last we left, Story had given birth to Quill, a very, very adorable ginger baby boy. But before we get more into that, I'm going to show you a quick view of the Legends' expanded house (I know this seems like it happens a lot, but I swear I wasn't constantly constructing).
This is the front view. I was trying to go for a "cottage" feel, but it's really just a rectangle instead of a square with a lot of windows. Welp.
First floor! Very basic, with hardly any furniture, as I had not yet decorated yet. From the bottom right is Story's study, above that is a bathroom, then the dining room. The bottom left is the living area, then above is the kitchen. Very boring. I apologize.
Second level! From bottom right is Roman's bedroom, and to the left of it is the nursery for Flynn and Quill. Then you have Story and Jude's bedroom (again, another awkward shape). The bathroom across from it gets added onto, as I thought at the time adding a washing machine and dryer would be a fabulous idea. In a house with a child and two toddlers... not one of my better ideas.
Jude: It's bad when I've seen so many toddlers in my life that laundry is fun to do.
I'm sorry, darling... but you'd better get used to it. Not that this should be a challenge for you.
Upon taking Quill into the nursery, Story had her birthday. Remember when I said I was a complete n00b when I started this legacy and was just playing as I went? Wait, I didn't mention that? Well, there you are.
WHAT IS WITH THIS HAIR? I HATE IT SO MUCH.
So I spent like an hour on these head-shots, you guys. It took me so long because Photobucket likes to troll me, and I really need Photoshop. But, they are much better than the originals, so bask in the improvement with me!
Adult Story! Still pretty.
Here is Jude's, since I was a lazy douchebag and didn't do one before (yes this is his YA profile, and YES HE IS WEARING BLUSH idk why).
And again, because I didn't do an updated head-shot for Roman, have one of him too! Look how generous I am.
Okay, enough of that. God, that seriously took me like an hour. Okay, whatever.
Roman and Flynn get along really well, and they've been best friends since about this age.
It's really sweet. They're really easy going children!
Guess who's not.
Quill, for all your cuteness, you are REALLY whiny. Now, let's look at the typical day in the life of Roman Legend.
Studiously doing his homework.
Eats dinner (yes, leftovers, get over yourselves, LIKE YOU ALL HAVEN'T DONE IT).
Autonomously cleans up after himself.
Some light reading before bed.
But no story is better than a bedtime story... read by Story!
The puns refuse to quit.
With the children in bed, Jude and Story go to bed, too.
Whether they actually sleep or not? I plead the fifth.
Old Lady: Should children be allowed to answer the door?
Roman: My mom's busy.
I told you people. I want a girl.
Gearing up for the amount of toddlers that my house will have, I decided to try to keep things as functional as possible.
Toddlers, clothed, fed, and trapped: check!
First born, productive and staying out of trouble: check!
Husband, stocking up on sleep while he can before his house is overrun with his spawn: check!
Family dinner while the status is quo and life is not hectic: check!
If you're like me, you're assuming Roman is continuing his quest as "perfect child" by autonomously cleaning the toilet. This is a safe assumption.
Roman: I fixed the toilet for you, Dad.
Jude: Thanks, buddy! :D
Roman:...goodnight.
I love Roman. Did I mention that?
Well, the next day Flynn aged up. I didn't document it, because, again- n00b. Have a head-shot.
I'm not good with facial features, but I think he looks exactly like Roman, who looks like Jude. Except Flynn has Story's mouth. Well, we shall see!
Remember when I said the boys are best friends?
Yup.
Oh yeah... so... Flynn's IF, Butterbumps, aged up with him.
This was my first encounter with an IF. My reaction was along the same lines as everyone else's.
Flynn:
Hey Brother, let me come up!
Roman: Mmm... I don't know... why should I?
Flynn: Because my imaginary friend is AFTER ME.
Roman: Don't worry, he'll never get us up here.
Roman: See? He's no where in sight!
Flynn: You're right, I don't see him anywhere!
Butterbumps: Du-nah... du-nah... DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN!
They let Butterbumps join in their fun, because I felt bad. :( IT'S NOT HIS FAULT HE'S SO CREEPY!
Back inside, Jude was hard at work getting Quill to speak.
Jude: Just wait until you're old enough to party. You'll love it.
Eventually the boys came inside.
Flynn: Hey Roman, our distant relative sent me an imaginary friend.
And you didn't get one. Sucks to be you.
Roman: Have I mentioned Quill is my favorite brother?
Flynn: My name isn't Qui- ...
Roman: Point.
Jude: That's right, Quill- say "GARBAGE"!
Being the only toddler, Quill got a lot of attention, so he joined the rest of the house in being in a good mood! And Story's mood was full through all her pregnancies, which made working on her LTW easier.
I won't comment on this. Moving right along.
The next night the boys did their homework together while their parents were across town, changing their lives as they knew it.
A GIRL!
Meet Nara, a disciplined virtuoso! Coincidentally, Nara is the name of one of my favorite songs, and it wasn't until after the fact of naming her I realized her "distant" aunt's name is Noro.
Nara quickly became the center of attention, especially where Jude was concerned. Something tells me he really wanted a little girl to spoil.
Don't worry, Quill is still being cared for, as well as his sister! Since Flynn moved into Roman's room, the toddlers have a quarantine- I mean DESIGNATED SPACE just for them.
Charming. Fun fact: Nara did not recieve an IF in the mail. NOT THAT I WANTED ANOTHER.
Quill's IF's name is Moon Boy, if I hadn't mentioned.
THIS IS A GAME OF THRONES THEMED LEGACY, AND I SHALL NOT HEAR ANY COMPLAINTS ON THE MATTER.
With the children abed- whatever, do I really need to detail the scenario that happens EVERY TIME?
...wait. Where are you two going?
WOAH, WAIT A MINUTE, THAT'S NOT-
I didn't know that was possible. Now... now I know.
Jude: Now, baby, I want you to find a GOOD man when the time is right. A strong guy to protect you. Say "STRONG!"
Nara: -blank stare-
All in good time, Jude.
I'd paused my game and found Roman here.
LOL All I can think of is *DERP* when I see the joy ride interaction.
This is the Legends' personal paparazzi stalker. She's creepy as hell.
Yeah, so... I didn't want this next thing to happen, but it sure as hell did.
I wanted three kids. And at least 1 to be a girl.
Those were my only stipulations.
I just chose to ignore it. Tralalalalala?
Roman got an award for being awesome, again. Some badges for being a scout! Everyone showed up, which was nice, and then Jude took them all out to eat afterward to celebrate Roman's birthday that night! My baby, getting older already!
I didn't document the actual birthday (again)... I know. But after this chapter, I promise my picture taking, angles, zoom, wall cuts, and plumbobs get MUCH better! If you're still reading this far along, I promise it's all downhill from here. Anyway. Teenage Roman!
I've decided he's basically a really cute nerd. And I approve. :D FIRST BORN: SUCCESS!
The next morning, Flynn wakes Roman up so they can pillow fight. Teenagerdom has not hindered Roman's mischievous side, because he readily agrees.
Roman: Time, time, time... I have to be careful of my glasses... NOT REALLY!
After the pillow fight, Roman surprises me yet again, proving more why he is the perfect heir.
Roman automously takes care of toddlers.
Thanks for reading! :D
