I've just gotten the reminder from my body that I am, in fact, a non-pregnant, fertile, girl. Because if it doesn't remind me every few months, I do tend to forget.
It may sound cool, you know, only getting your monthlies twice to four times a year, but not when you realize that I get the same AMOUNT of cramps and er, liquid, I just don't get it spaced out. OMG, CRIMSON TIDE! Wanna see my Carrie impression? How about Sansa Stark? Not to mention - I can't WALK right now. Seriously. Can't stand up straight. And this is after having ingested the maximum reccomended amount of painkillers. And then some

And before you ask, yes I've been to an effing doctor about it. I've been to several effing doctors. They say: it's stress-related. It will go away (or rather, you know, come back) on its own. Unless you're trying to have a baby, don't worry about it.

There is no question in my mind it is destined to become a classic in this fandom, a gold standard, like lithium_doll's "Everybody's Free (To Watch Farscape)" and sdwolfpup's "Movin Right Along", and half a dozen others I could name. It is art, pure and simple. It will make you bleed for John Crichton. WATCH IT.
Oh, and I would be remiss if I went around reccing vids without pointing you in the direction of sisabet's glorious Be So Glad I have to admit, however, that unlike Kaz's vid it loses its impact if you're not intimately familiar with the characters and situations, as it's highly metaphorical. That said? It is the single best treatment of Stark and John and thier strange metaphysical/metatextual relationship. Just... YES. Stark is John, you see. John is Stark.
