Bored in class...
I'm really not paying attention in class, so might as well write an entry, eh?
Well the last 5 days or so I've had the flu, so that was spectacular. I don't think I've had it in years. Went to the doctor to get more meds and such, on top of whatever over the counter stuff they told me to take in addition to the tamiflu. kept me from going to both poker nights and work for the second weekend in a row - missed friday through sunday, which would've been a pretty paycheck :(
My mom's plane was cancelled, so they opted to take a flight to detroit friday night, then come home saturday morning. Still wasn't feeling well when I picked her up (I insisted!) but by mid-afternoon I was finally able to keep some simple foods down. Went to my cousin brett's basketball game which is always entertaining (and I haven't seen his team lose yet!). Then because we had enough motivation, my mom and I drove out to wilde honda to look at the used car that I found online. By 6:00 - yes, they stayed with us an hour after close to make sure they go the sale! - I was driving it home. Very pretty used BLUE 2004 honda civic. A very "me" car :)
I guess I should attempt to pay attention since there's an exam next week. It just seems pointless to pay attention to the professor, cause I'm just going to study the book and notes anyways. oh well...
oh yes. 1 MONTH TIL I'M 21!! :D
