Strep Throat to the Max
Oh, I am so sick.
Sorry if this ends up sounding like a pity party, but I can't talk, so I need to let it out somewhere.
Woke up Monday to a sore throat and just not feeling good, but I had to go to class to turn in work, so I did, and went back home as soon as possible. I called into work, and tried to accomplish homework that was due Tuesday.
Woke up Tuesday to a 102.2 temperature and a swollen throat. Josh said I couldn't go to school, which stressed me out because I had an exam. I finally decided to go to the med clinic down the road. They said I had Strep Throat.
There's more to say but I need to lay down again, I'll finish later.
Back again. I was given a note to stay home until Thursday and a prescription for penicillin. Today is Wednesday and I can't really talk, my throat hurts so bad, eating and drinking only help for a moment and then it hurts worse. I'm still running a fever between 99.something and 100.something. I'm thinking I need to contact the clinic for an extended sick note from school.
All I do right now is take my meds and sleep, trying to drink and eat something cool whenever I can handle it. Amazingly milkshakes help. This really sucks, sorry if you read all the way through this, and I hope you never get it this bad.
