It’s funny, attempting to live the spoiler-free life while participating in fandom at large. Because on the one hand, I don’t feel like I knew much of anything about this episode going into it, other than the tiny bits and pieces from the promo at the end of last week’s. I didn’t really know plot at all, I didn’t know songs other than the clip from ( Read more... )

Oh, I'm definitely feeling anxious. I've been saying all season (well, I can't remember how much I've said it in recaps, but I've definitely had conversations to this effect) that I am just waiting for Blaine to snap. I remain spoiler-free, but this is just based on how Blaine has been acting at various points all throughout this season - kind of manic, insecure... and it has only intensified now that he's in New York.

There's a whole other post I want to write about this, so I won't write a novel of a comment, but I very much feel like something is building, here. So I'm kind of on the edge of my seat to see where it goes.

(I mean, it's Glee, it could go nowhere at all. But I just have this feeling.)

And Kurt, I think, isn't quite seeing it. For one, he's at a more confident, comfortable place, so it's hard for him to empathize with Blaine's insecurity. I think he notices that *something* is wrong, but I think he's only scratching the surface and dealing with the visual symptoms of the issue. I don't think we've hit the root of it, yet.

I think we've had a few cries for help from Blaine, but I don't think any of the underlying problems have been dealt with, yet.

I could be totally wrong, but my Spidey sense is tingling... we'll see.
