So, like, it's eternally April or May 2013 in Lima and New York. But tonight it's... Christmas? I have no earthly clue. Well, I have some thoughts and emotions on this whole time warp thing, but I'm going to try to set it aside and just focus on tonight. Let's see what absurdity Glee has in store, shall we? I've had a challenge trying to reconcile the genuinely funny, self-referential, 4th wall breaking joy that is Glee on crack, with all the NO I kept running into.

I mean, I assumed it would be cracky and ridiculous, but at least thought it would be good-natured fun instead of nasty fun. I wasn't really in the mood for nasty. Large parts of the episode just felt... mean.

I am new to Fandom-with-a-capital-F as well, but this is probably the most love-it-or-hate-it episode I've ever encountered. Some people loved it in its cracky, fourth-wall-breaking, tongue-in-cheek, flip-the-bird glory. Some people found it offensive or triggering for all kinds of reasons (non/dub-con sexual situations in particular).
Personally, I don't begrudge anyone their opinion, whether or not it lines up with mine. Tumblr is a freaking minefield right now, though.
(And I love the image of your shoulder-angel doing the Motown moves with Angel!Blaine. Ha!!)
