Though the group I began traveling with after leaving my town and finding that my sister had died were traitorous monsters, even such people have their good side I suppose. One of the first adventures we went on together was to find a demon haunting a town of people. They were forced to fight for the pleasure and amusement of the creatures and we put a stop to that. Additionally, after that, we raided several bands of slavers after learning from a barbarian town that all their children had been kidnapped. I cannot abide slavers but especially those who take children. Children are very precious, whether they live in a large city or in the outskirts in a barbarian village.
They did these things as mercenaries but they did truly seem to care about the people they aided... so much so that I did not expect they would end up betraying what they seemed to stand for and definitely what I stood for.
