Greeted with saddened news today... death of a colleague which happened so sudden. He was 49, leaving behind a widow and 12 year old son. A mellow and dedicated man who showed concern and great responsibility to his job at hand. He had just been officially appointed this morning, as the new supervisor. For the people out there...it's true what is said... Don't involve yourself in Supply Chain. i.e. don't ever think of being a planner/buyer. It's a job that goes away unappreciated, and you will always have to bear the brunt for errors arising. Your fault that production is overloaded. Your fault that vendor delivery gets delayed.
