Happy Valentine's day everyone! *mwacks mwacks mwacks!*
another week gone by... I've discovered that having a public holiday in the middle of the week is as disruptive even when you have no job. Well, first I didn't even realise that it was a holiday, then after that spent the whole day out window shopping with joycie, not to mention hanging out real late both the nights before - and old age is catching up with me.. the accumulative effect is exhausting! :'(
All this in the midst of trying to be more productive and sending out resumes etc. AND anal-rententive clearing of music folder (replacing all files that are >128kpbs). Am i a great procrastinator or what?
I was sitting in a 50s-style diner with Joyce. The guy sitting opposite us, came over to convince me to go out with him. He said alot of stuff, but i only remember that he said that he was into reading Tarot cards too. The other thing was that he looked like a model we used for a Citibank shoot years back. He was the joke of the entire shoot because he couldn't deliver the line 'The way you guys spend, you'd be lucky to holiday in Bintan.' He used up more than 300 ft of film!!!
The second one - I was living in my own apartment (YAY!), had a Melbournian (double YAY!) or London feel to it. Was cooking in the kitchen to prepare for earth9 company outing!!! Big plastic bowl soaking in boiling water in big metal pot. I was using tongs to hold the plastic bowl up. But I went to look for curry powder and went I came back, only the top of the plastic bowl remained - the rest had dissolved! So I was left holding a white plastic hub-like thing. Weird. The phone rang. Was Jason Giam calling to announce change of location - now we're going to Sentosa. Damn! I knew this was going to happen! Then somehow, I walked through my apartment to the connecting costume shop. There were so many costumes I couldn't decide which one to get. How?!!!
