so exhausting yesterday. had meeting with Kahong about the Kursk project - he seemed quite happy with the work I've done. Now just need to lock down the pay properly. And meet Discovery on Monday. hope it goes well.
didn't have much chance to talk to Keiko about the job - but basically she did say we can try it out for a couple of months, then maybe come back and coordinate the Disc programme. hm. well. was initially thinking between production mgmt for the raintree film/telemovie, vs mostly admin/production support for Keiko... but in the end.. still think working for her is better... more new things to learn. otherwise will just be caught up in the vicious cycle that is our industry and i'll have no chance to expand beyond sgp. hope it works out! *fingers toes eyes all crossed!* hope i dun fall.
also went to the 24/7 launch party. aiyo. so not my scene. i dunno how to relate to these people. nothing to say, no deals to cut. am not a fast-talking, slangy, 'ihavesomanythingstotellyou', air-kissing, hug hug hug type of person. a couple of people felt pretty genuine (sp?!) and sincere tho'. still felt like slinking away to hide in the corner. very out of my league. so extremely bored. so awkward. do we really have to be like that to suceed?... conclusion: rich reinforce rich.
